Mani obtained an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University and a law degree from the University of Alberta. As a law student Mani gained experience working at the Criminal Law Clinic at the University of Alberta. He was called to the Bar of British Columbia in January 2007. Mani spent his early career as a sole practitioner with a focus on criminal defence. In 2012, he formed the law firm of Mani Sandhu and Associates with a focus on general litigation. In 2017, he joined Basra Law Group as an associate counsel.
Mani’s experience has included Criminal Defence, Family Law and ICBC / Injury Claims. His trial work has involved both judge alone and jury trials at the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia. He is an experienced trial lawyer having conducted several hundred trials since being called to the Bar.
Currently, Mani’s practice is primarily focused on ICBC Injury claims and Family Law. He is committed to dealing with client’s interests in a fair and equitable way. Whether by trial or alternative dispute resolution he is dedicated to ensuring that you are treated fairly.
Mani has previously volunteered with the New Westminster Police Service and he has served on the board of directors for a charity. He is a current member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. In his spare time he enjoys learning new languages and doing home improvement projects.
